I love how versatile the Sprinkles of Life set is - from ice cream, to clouds and trees , to baskets of flowers...this is an all-in-one deal!! The coordinating Tree Builder punch is a must too!

So there you have it - all 3 cards we made at my recent class. I hope you can join me next time!

Which one is your favorite? All supplies can be found in my online store 24/7. Until next time...

Weekly Deals and Sprinkles of Life #2

The second card we made at my recent Sprinkles of Life class was a CASE from a fellow demonstrator in the UK, Helen Read.

Instead of scoops of ice cream (used on yesterday's card) , the stamped image from the set looks like clouds on this card! This set is so versatile and was an instant hit when demonstrators got a sneak peek last year before the Annual Catalogue went live! The coordinating punch (Tree Builder) sold out quickly, and I remember it was a month or so before I got my hands on it! Thankfully the excitement has dimmed a bit with the wonderful Occasions Catalogues that have been released since then and it hasn't gone on backorder since the beginning.

The card base is Pool Party, then a layer of Old Olive frames the Whisper White. The flowers along the bottom are stamped in Old Olive and Bermuda Bay. Because this set is photopolymer, it's super-easy to stamp the blooms on the stems perfectly since the stamps are see-through!

Why not scoop up your own Sprinkles of Life set, coordinating Tree Builder punch, and some Fast Fuse adhesive - you would then qualify for a FREE Sale-A-Bration item!

Ronald McDonald House Charities benefits ($3 from each Sprinkles of Life stamp set sold is donated by SU) and you do too! Win-win!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Sprinkles of Life Ice Cream

I had my Sprinkles of Life class on Tuesday, and we made 6 adorable cards (2 each of 3 designs). The Sprinkles of Life set is this year's stamp set created to support a wonderful charity, Ronald McDonald House Charities. With every purchase of this 22-piece photopolymer set, Stampin' Up! donates $3 to RMHC! To date, SU has donated over $1,000,000 to RMHC and their network of local RMHC chapters. Stampin' Up! Also created a coordinating punch - who doesn't love that?!! Here's a look at the first card we made.
Stamp Set: Sprinkles of Life
Paper: Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride, Early Espresso, Whisper White, 2015-2017 DSP Stack
Ink: Soft Suede, Blushing Bride, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Basic Black Archival
Other Tools: Stampin' Sponges, Tree Builder Punch, Blender Pen, adhesive, Paper Snips

Did you know if you purchase the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set (item 139971), the Tree Builder Punch (item 138295), and a pack of Blender Pens (item 102845) or a Fast Fuse Adhesive (item 129026), you could choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration item?!  RMHC benefits and you do too! Don't forget there are 3 SAB gifts that will only be available for a couple more weeks! Head to my online store to help a great charity and choose your free gift today!

I will be back tomorrow with the second card we made at my class!

Go for the Gold!

I have another card for you showcasing 2 Sale-A-Bration gifts - the Botanicals for You stamp set and the Wildflower Fields DSP. I simply embossed the Just For You on vellum paper and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Heat embossing was the first technique I learned and used when I was introduced to cardmaking over 15 years ago. Back in the day I would emboss lined stamps in black and then colour them in. I still love the embossed look and the versatility it lends to stamping with different coloured embossing powders and ways of showcasing stamps. Give it a try! It's super-simple and really amps up the wow-factor!
The card base is Lost Lagoon, and I finished the card off with Calypso Coral Candy Dots.

With every $60 purchase (before taxes and shipping) you can choose an item for free from the SAB catalogue until March 31! Head over to my online store to scoop up the gems I've used today!

Weekly Deals and Sale-A-Bration Reminder!

Did you  know that some Sale-A-Bration items are for a limited time? In less than a month these select items will no longer be available:
I love the little airplane in the Sky is the Limit stamp set - it makes masculine cards a breeze! And 'hello'....that font!! I must say the DSP didn't "grab" me when I saw it in the catalogue but I have since seen it in person and it is dreamy! Great colours in a fun swirly pattern on one side, more solid on the other. Fantastic! Want them all?! Why not host a party with your friends and family? Don't forget that you can choose wood or clear mount for your free stamp sets!

It's Tuesday and that means new sales from Stampin' Up! Check out that punch pack! It's from the NEW Occasions Catalogue!
I've got my Sprinkles of Life stamp class tomorrow night. I'll share the cards we make later in the week! Until then...
Happy Stampin'!

Happy Home Meets Wildflower Fields

I really loved  the Hearth & Home Framelits that were in the Holiday Occasions catalogue and was so excited to see that they were sticking around! There's a new coordinating stamp set in the new Occasions catalogue called Happy Home, and I used the new Wildflower Fields DSP from the Sale-A-Bration too - I love colours and patterns in this DSP - and the only way you can get it is during Sale-A-Bration! With every $60 purchase (before taxes and shipping) you get to pick one item (like this DSP) for FREE!
Lost Lagoon, Calypso Coral, and Crumb Cake are the main colours used. Bundle the Happy Home stamp set with the coordinating Hearth & Home Framelits and save 15%!

New Occasions Catalogue and start of Sale-A-Bration!

Can you believe we're almost a week into the new Occasions catalogue and SAB?!! Sorry I'm late getting these posted - my hubbie and I took a little trip to California for a few days. Nice way to start the new year, right? Unfortunately it was rainy nearly every day we were there, but rain is way better than -5 F (-17 C) here in Calgary and snow! I was able to place an order before we left and it should be arriving tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have time to play with my new goodies this week.

In the meantime, take advantage of the free goodies you can earn from Stampin' Up! With every $60 Canadian purchase you get to choose an item for FREE! Head over to my online store!

The kit ships for free, and you can stuff it full of new products from the new catalogue! There are no further commitments required! You can enjoy your demonstrator discount as a hobby demonstrator and still attend special demonstrator only events, get sneak peaks of upcoming catalogues and specials, and SO much more!!* (*minimum quarterly sales must be met).

I have met some wonderful ladies through Stampin' Up! I would love to have you join us! We belong to a team called The Inkin' Elite and our upline is Allison, a member of the SU Artisan Team! You can just imagine the wonderful samples and projects she shares with us as well as business tips at our team meetings! Even better, a member of my "sideline" is ALSO on the Artisan team this year - we have a lot of talent in our group! We have "team challenges" every month and this is a card I created for our members-only Facebook page!
It is such an honor to "rub elbows" with some of Stampin' Up!'s most talented Artisans and I am so pleased to consider these wonderful ladies my friends.I would love to introduce you to them - give me a call or email to learn how you can join our team!

Starting tomorrow you can shop from the new 2016 Occasions Catalogue - head to my online store and check out all the fantastic new products!
